Moose Haven Vacation Home

Moose Haven is a 2300 square foot, cozy western style authentic log home.

The main floor is complimented with natural log construction, is quiet, cozy and comfortable.  There is a large living room, one bedroom, and a full bathroom on this floor, along with the kitchen and dining room. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one large room with a king size bed, another room with three single beds. Downstairs is another full, large living room, a master bedroom, a full bathroom, and a full service laundry.  We also have wireless high speed Internet, Direct TV, TV/VCR/DVD players. Provided for your comfort are all paper goods, silverware, linens, towels, and blankets.

There is a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, range, microwave, and all the cookware. The dining room table will seat your entire group. Before dinner enjoy a glass of wine on the deck while watching the sunset on the mountains. In the morning watch deer, moose, and birds while sipping your morning coffee. On the deck there is a comfortable patio set and gas grill.  A fire pit is available off the cabin deck that is great for telling stories around the fire and watching the stars light up the Montana Big Sky.

The Moose Haven Cabin is located in the center of designated wilderness areas and national parks. America's first national park, Yellowstone National Park is located a short 7 miles away. In addition to Yellowstone National Park you will want to take the time to explore Jackson Hole and Teton National Park, the Lewis and Clark Caverns and their historical Trail. Enjoy the traditional old west towns of Virginia City with old time saloons. I also highly recommend the 30 minute drive to Cliff and Wade Lakes for beautiful scenery, great fly fishing, and hiking. If you are a bird watcher, the Red Rock Conservation Refuge is about 45 minutes from the cabin.
